Riverside Stimulation cente= r is the main school in Bulawayo that is positioned to serve the community= of children with Special Needs. This school serves a compliment of 187 st= udents=2C from both the primary (elementary) and high-school level. On t= his property the grades 0 - 7 are educated & the high school students lear= n elsewhere. The best part about this school is that is it integrated=2C= and this speaks perfectly to our vision of inclusivity in the community.= The school is currently attended by both neuro-typical and neuro-diverse= students. This school is also the only one that has a Secondary level ( High School= Type) - they call this (The collegiate) which serves our students with sp= ecial needs beyond primary education level. It is really the high school b= ut it offers a lot more learning avenues that are often better suited for= our learners with learning challenges. We are officially in talks right now with the school officials in order to= develop a strategic plan with specific goals & objectives in order to bes= t serve our students in the community & in-fact this will be the perfect l= ocation where to build & develop the MMF Resource center along with all th= e other programs we are forecasting. It is our vision & goal to REBUILD THE SCHOOL FACILITIES=2C new school cam= pus for both the elementary & collegiate levels=2C school building & class= rooms=2C a fitness center with a swimming pool for water therapies=2C the= main office & resource center for MMF=2C as well as Develop the Agri-Lea= ning Center for our adults here with several programs & facilities that ca= ter to their training & learning.
